About Sophie Yost, M.A.
Originally from France, I moved to the United States in 1996. Once here, I continued the marketing and project management career I had started in Europe. In 2003, I returned to school to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a psychotherapist. This has been one of the most meaningful and satisfying decisions of my life.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. My clinical training started in 2004 and has taken place in a variety of settings including: Adolescent Counseling Services, Family and Children Services, El Camino Hospital's inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services and Stanford University.
Now a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in the State of California (License #47814), I work in private practice in Palo Alto and at Stanford University, where I counsel Faculty and Staff members.
